Go Goa-- Part III

Day 3 was not all that eventful.. we visited Old Goa.. wanted to see St. Francis Xavier’s Body which was on display for the last time in India… but the huge line out there discouraged us…but we went to the church… don’t know what all prayed for…but am sure someone among us prayed for a wonderful time we were yet to spend in Goa…yes the remaining 2 days in Goa 30th and the 31st of December 2004 were days none of us can ever forget….And hey thanks to Conan (Our junior from Mech)… His parents advised that we book a Goa tour as it would save us time and money…We did as advised…Booked 3 North Goa tour tickets for the 30th…

Day 4—30th of December…We got up early as the tour was to start from Panaji at 9:30…had to reach Panaji by 9:15 at least…. Naveen was the first to get ready… as Denzi and I were still trying to get away from the morning blues…Naveen thought its time for some much needed workout session…He started with his crunches…He somehow managed to put in about 15 mins of crunching (hoping to get six packs immediately)…. Finally Denzi and I got ready… and we were off to enjoy our second last day in Goa…

We boarded a bus from Margao and luckily Naveen got a seat immediately… Denzi and I were bearing the crowd…reminded me of the Bombay local trains… We noticed certain weird expressions on Naveen’s face all through the journey… maybe the crowded bus troubled him…but no….Naveen had something else stored…When we alighted at Panaji bus stand at 9:25…. Naveen asked me if I have 2 rupees change… We were baffled.. we thought that what the hell will he do with 2 rupees.. Then Naveen revealed us his problem… A huge problem indeed… The heavy crunches had taken toll on him…For those who did not understand…He had to attend to nature call immediately…. And our tour bus was scheduled to leave in 5 mins….now what….Denzi and me were cursing Naveen…. why did he have to exercise so hard…did he think that those 6 pack abs will show up in a day...angry and giggling at the same time we decided that we should go ahead and try to stop the tour bus to leave….

We reached the tour office…a beautiful looking orange colored bus was waiting for us…we asked the driver to wait for a few minutes…. But he refused… he asked us not to worry as there will be many buses after this…The bus left leaving Denzi and me wondering whether the other buses would be as good as this one… Most of the buses in Goa were not good enough to travel for a whole day.. the one we missed was an exception…

Finally, Naveen arrives… Denzi and me gave him an earful.. in the meanwhile, a not so good looking bus came and we were asked to get in to that.. We had no other option… The bus was full…it had only about 3 seats empty…We got in… and looked around the mini bus.. the bus was filled with families and groups of people in their 40’s… but wait….on the last seat….THERE WERE GALS…..a big group of gals…..V being the very decent guys…did not have our tongues rolling out and shouting…AHOOGAAAAA…. We acted normally and settled ourselves on the first seats….none of us saw the gals properly… all of us just knew there were gals behind… none of us knew how they looked…

Our first stop was at a temple… all of us alighted…it was then we saw the gals for the first time...there were 5 of them…and wait there was one guy accompanying them…5 gals and 1 guy….lucky guys we all thought… One of these gals was very beautiful….the rest looked very very bitchy….

At the temple also we did not show any interest…. The guy from their group walked up to us and asked Naveen to click a photo for them… we did not show any enthusiasm and Naveen quietly clicked their photos and came back… nothing much transpired after that till our next destination…VAGATOR beach…

Vagator beach was good….a small beach but a clean and good one.. Denzi and Naveen were busy shooting photos….don’t know what they came to Goa for…they were totally modeling for each other…while I walked all the way to the market for some much needed booze….When I came back…what I see…Denzi and Naveen are posing high up on the rocks….looked like some fashion shoot going on…

Finally…after a round of vodka…. Naveen and I had a dip in the sea while Denzi preferred to stay out and click photos… The gals were there near us but we did not pay head to them…Sorry….the WE does not include Naveen…We could see Naveen trying to get a glimpse of them almost every minute…

After spending some time on the beach, we went back to the bus…the tour guide then said we would be having food now before we go to our next destination…

So we were taken to a hotel to have food…While we ordered food…we could see these chicks sitting at one end of the hotel and fagging…yes these gals were smoking…We immediately thought looks like we are in for some fun…..

Naveen started to get desperate by then…he desperately wanted to talk to them… he was saying that after lunch he would go and talk to them…he said he would go and sit on the last seat with them…Denzi and I thought he was going nuts…but then Lady Luck knocked our doors…the tour guide walked up to us and asked us for a favor….guess what … she wanted us to sit on the back seat with the gals as the uncles sitting with them were drunk and were playing hanky panky…we told the guide that its ok with us but is it ok with the gals…and guess what she replied…the gals had asked her to do so….need we say more…By this time the guy from their group walked up to us and asked if it was ok with us….We told him not to worry and will join them on their back seat….

So we were at the back seat of the bus with gals all around us….

I know u guys are very eager to know what happened after that…but sorry guys… due to heavy work load in office…I have to stop here…we shall continue with the story in our next post…Promise…
